NY Contractor LLC. recently completed a full-gut bathroom renovation in my parent’s 100-year-old house. Andy, the owner of NY Contractor LLC. handled all aspects of the job, including the demolition down to the wall studs and joists, wall and floor preparation, tiling, and installation of all bathroom fixtures and accessories. Andy’s work crew was courteous and very respectful, and they showed up on time at 8:00am each day. At the end of each day, they cleaned up any mess and debris. The goal of the project was to transform a cramped and very outdated bathroom into a safe and senior friendly bathroom for my parents My parents and I are very happy with the completed bathroom. We found Andy to be honest and he did not try to push us to include features or products to drive up the cost of the project. The quality of work was excellent. The walls were straightened and the floors were perfectly leveled. No easy feat in a 100-year-old house. A custom senior friendly shower was built. The tile work throughout the bathroom was top notch. Andy’s crew paid a lot of attention to detail, and the new bathroom turned out great.

Amid my shock at sustaining a major plumbing catastrophe requiring excavation of my bathroom and kitchen, Andy of NY Contractor LLC assuaged any fears I had concerning restructuring and repair of both my kitchen and bathroom. My bathroom sheet rocking and tiling was beautifully done and my kitchen restructured and enhanced very much to my satisfaction. Andy and his workers did a timely job and cleaned up nicely. My first experience renovating an apartment, Andy and his guys did a fantastic job at a fair price. Walked me through everything and made some helpful suggestions based on some weird quirks in the 100-year-old building. Total professional, looking forward to spending the next 20+ years with my new bathroom.

An older building gets problems, such as leaking, that are unclear as to their source and best remedy. I highly recommend this company. It is so great to find a contractor who is honest, knowledgeable, communicative and takes pride in their work. Andy is clear and reliable regarding his schedule and availability. He will be there when he says he will. He is clearly an expert in construction and has fixed problems for my building that had multiple failed attempts before him and his team succeeded. He is willing and able to explain his pricing and reasoning for the plans and steps he would use. He uses quality materials and doesn't take shortcuts or cheap short term fixes. I'm grateful for the work he's done and would gladly hire him for any repairs or renovations, whether straightforward or tricky.

Our entire building experienced issues with lacquered cabinet doors peeling, and it’s a very specific and difficult problem to fix. Andy restored ours so they look like new. We were working with a tight moving timeline, and Andy was quick, responsive, and highly professional throughout. He also helped with several small but important repairs to get our apartment ready for sale. We would absolutely recommend him.

Andy and his team did extensive concrete repairs after a plumber excavated and replaced our 4-unit condo building's back-pitched sewage lines. Andy's communication was prompt and clear, his quote was fair, and the work was completed quickly with high quality. He left the property clean and clearly takes pride in his work.
